Dear Families,
On behalf of Truman staff, I welcome you to our school. We believe it is our job to inspire passion for learning and to provide a safe and inclusive environment for every one of our students. We believe all students deserve our very best and that each student is capable of reaching their potential as a student and as a person.
Truman has a solid foundation of strong community support through partnerships with the Truman Neighborhood Association and Northside Baptist Church. These community volunteers participate regularly in our Lunch Buddy and tutoring programs. Our families are very involved in a variety of ways. You will see them volunteering in classrooms and participating in our active PTA.
We are truly proud of the positive and inclusive culture we have developed here at Truman.
